FGV manages more than 450,000 hectares of plantation estates in Malaysia as well as in Indonesia, primarily devoted to the cultivation of oil palms in Eastern and Central Kalimantan. In Malaysia, we operate across almost all states, of this 96% is oil palm, two-thirds of which is located in Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah on the island of Borneo.
In Indonesia, FGV has invested in Trurich (a joint venture with Lembaga Tabung Haji) that owns 42,000 hectares of oil palm plantations in East and Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. We also own PT Citra Niaga, a company that owns 14,385 hectares of land in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, currently being developed into oil palm plantations
FGV also has acquired another 21,037 hectares of land in West Kalimantan via PT Temila Agro Abadi and PT Landak Bhakti Palma, which are both 95 percent owned by FGV.
With the 100% acquisition of Felda Holdings Berhad (FHB), FGV is currently world’s third largest oil palm estate operator.
We produce over 5 million tonnes of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) annually. These are processed in our 72 palm oil mills, which also process over 10 million additional tonnes of FFB from FELDA settlers and independent outgrowers. We produce more than 3 million tonnes of CPO annually. In addition, we lease and manage 10,784 hectares of rubber plantations in Malaysia. In 2013, we produced 28,218 tonnes of dry rubber and processed 84,304 tonnes of rubber in our 7 factories.
